It's official; I am a homeowner!

Okay, that was official last Friday when I closed, but now that I have moved in it feels official. I just spent my first night in the new house. Guys, I woke up with sunlight! It's a big step up from my previous basement lair.

Yesterday was awesome. One of my roommate's best friends came down from Baltimore with her boyfriend. They turned out to be really cool people, and we all went to Franklin Street together. This is a Halloween party with more than 20,000 people--best people-watching spot in the world.

Today it was 45 degrees and rainy all day, and I had to wait 20 minutes for the bus home. It is totally okay though, because I had two packages waiting for me.

My very own copy of the Cities and Knights expansion for Settlers of Catan* arrived today, the present I bought myself with all my Barnes and Noble gift cards. The art is lovely.

Today was a very good day. I made it to my 8am class on time, I got my shiny new salad spinner in the mail, I learned interesting things in my database class, solved two paperwork problems, made an appointment to finish up my shots, and ate delicious seasonal produce.

Also, I watched some Babylon 5.
